The Magic Never Ends: The Life and Works of C.S. Lewis

Thursday, November 20, 7pm

Producer, David Crouse will show his documentary and lead a discussion on the works of C.S. Lewis.  This program is part of the area-wide C.S. Lewis Festival.

 

                  Football Star talks to Parents about Depression                      

Tuesday, November 25, 6:30 pm

Eric Hipple will present a morning program to students at Charlevoix High School on teen depression.  He will be at the library that evening to address parents.

Craft Alert: Sweet Holiday Swags

Tuesday, December 2, 7 pm

Create a holiday swag using your own greenery.  Let Charlevoix Floral designer, Lori Mitchell teach you to construct your own decorative swag and bring in the holidays in style. Please bring your own greenery (cut in 1-3’ sections), garden gloves and small pruning shears.  You can bring your own embellishments or use some of Lori's.

Come share your talents with the Charlevoix community or come to appreciate others. 

 

Twilight Saga Lock-In

Friday, December 5

7:00-11:00 pm

Grades 6-12

Pre-registration preferred @ 237.7350

Come dressed up!...as a Twilight character, such as: Bella or Rosalie (wedding dress), Jasper (Civil War style uniform), Carlisle (doctor), a Cullen: Edward perhaps? (vampire), or Jacob (werewolf) - your choice. Listen to the music from the Twilight movie soundtrack while eating Italian food & wedding cake - in honor of Bella & Edward. Enter the Wolf Howling Contest and end the night by watching Van Helsing on the library's big screen (PG-13) from 9:00-11:00 p.m.

 

                                  Learn to Play the Guitar

Have you always wanted to play the guitar? Here is your chance! Join Robin Lee Berry, of Blissfest fame in this fun workshop.  Bring your own guitar or use one of Robin's baritone ukuleles.
