BOOK DISCUSSIONS @ YOUR LIBRARY
Mark your calendars and find a cozy chair for reading this winter in preparation for these up-coming book discussions:
April 14 is the date for the Community Read discussion of Three Cups of Tea. Read the book & join us at 6:30 pm in the Community Room.
BookTalkers meet on Monday, May 18, for a discussion of Luncheon of the Boating Party by Susan Vreeland. This best-selling historical novel paints a word story of the characters who would pose for Auguste Renior's Impressionist masterpiece of the same name, and is a "moving portrait of the creative process and of a community of people who came together for a moment to help create one great work."
This BookTalkers discussion begins at 6pm in the Armstrong Conference Room
Looking Ahead
June 22: The Zookeeper's Wife by Diane Ackerman
Acclaimed by readers and critics alike, this is the true story of how the keepers of the Warsaw Zoo saved hundreds of people from Nazi hands.
