THE CHANNEL AREA, 1905

The S. S. MISSOURI is seen entering the channel. To the left is the LIFE SAVING STATION, and just beyond, the City Power House, now the site of the Fish Hatchery. Center is the parade ground, on which can be seen an old Civil War cannon.
