You will learn about hooks, thread, and materials used for flies. Eric will teach how to properly proportion a fly. You will learn a variety of basic techniques that are essential to becoming a great fly tier. Eric will teach participants to tie a woolly bugger pattern, which is one of the best fly patterns to catch a variety of fish. Tying the woolly bugger offers many of the necessary skills to tie many other fly patterns. Even experienced fly tiers will learn a few new tips and techniques that will help them in their own tying.
